Almost £19,000 raised for Semina Halliwell from Southport portrait and charity

Semina's mum Rachel said

This is my daughter Semina who was groomed online raped beaten and bullied at the age of 12. Sadly she took her own life and died 12th June 2021. This portrait is going to represent the face of innocence and make awareness of online grooming and bullying.

The portrait will be 12ft x 12ft and will be shown in different galleries around the country. The artist is Robert Newbiggin , he will also be using it as his final piece of art work for his degree at Uclan.

In the coming future there will be a charity in Semina's name. Funding for this portrait is letting people be apart of helping bring awareness to online grooming and bullying. I want to make this portrait go viral with media attention.

Thank you Rachel and Family

Due to reaching our goal for the portrait so quickly we are setting a new goal of £6000 in order to set up a charity foundation in Semina's name to help raise awareness of online grooming and bullying.  Any further donations will go towards setting up the foundation.
