Car smashes into Wine Rack store in Birkdale Village

The emergency services were called to the Wine Rack store in Birkdale Village at approximately 1.30 pm today (2nd August) after a driver lost control of their vehicle and smashed through the window.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries. Weld Parade remains cordoned off as an investigation is in progress.
