National Trust car parks at Formby near Southport expected to be full today

National Trust car parks at Formby are expected to fill up quickly as today will be the warmest day of the year so far.

The car parks were full on Good Friday. There are also extremely high tides around midday.

Victoria Road carpark is currently full, and spaces are nearly full at Lifeboat Road carpark. We are also unable to accommodate anymore horseboxes today due to capacity. Please consider travelling by train by using this link. Alternatively, please visit at quieter times https://bit.ly/3elAIt6

High tides Easter weekend

Don’t forget to check tide times before you visit. There are some 8 to 9 metre high spring tides in the middle of the day over the Easter weekend. They’ll be very little beach for you to enjoy around this time, with the sea reaching right up to the dunes.
