Police arrest man outside Prince of Wales Hotel in Southport

Police have arrested a man on Lord Street in Southport this afternoon (Sunday 16th January)

Witnesses at the scene said the man appeared to be high on drugs and had been shoplifting.

He was taken away for questioning.
