Pupils from Norwood Primary School in Southport become mini Police for the day

Merseyside Mini-Police from Norwood Primary in Southport were taken to one of our training centres today (Tuesday 19th October) to see some of our Police Officers and Police Dogs in training.

Mini-Police Officers watched full-sized Police Officers undertaking public order training. Police Dog Handlers introduced them to Police Dogs Red and Theo, and were given a demonstration of how the dogs help us to find property and stop offenders who try to get away.

They also had a try at performing CPR, which is part of the Police Officer and PCSO annual training.

Another day in the lives of the Mini-Police.
