Southport MP wishes the Queen Happy Birthday in Facebook message

I want to wish Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II a very happy 96th birthday, on behalf of all those of us who live in Southport.

It is particularly special to be celebrating in her Platinum Jubilee year - 70 years of dedicated service to our country as sovereign. I know many in our town are looking forward to the Jubilee celebrations later this summer
