Southport's The Atkinson Celebrates Armed Forces Day with Packed Schedule

The Atkinson in Southport will be open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 29 June, to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
Vintage uniform or civilian dress
Visitors are encouraged to come in vintage period uniform or civilian dress for this year’s celebrations, which will focus on the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
This year’s events will begin with a multi-faith military Drumhead church service outside The Atkinson from 10:30am to 10.45am.
Special displays, themed talks, fashion show
Inside The Atkinson, there will be special displays, themed talks, a fashion show, family-friendly activities and delicious food from A Great Little Place café.

Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity to show our appreciation for the dedication and service of the Armed Forces community, and to learn more about life in the military.
