£50,000 recovered in Formby raid by Merseyside Police

Operation Pelican Officers have this afternoon seized the below off-road bikes and approximately £50,000 in cash believed to be from the proceeds of crime

Officers carried out an investigation after numerous reports of nuisance bikes in the Netherton area. Enquires led to an address in Formby where Officers forced entry and located two off road bikes and also £50,000 hidden in bags and clingfilm which is believed to be gained through the proceeds of crime.

Enquires are ongoing and the bikes will be crushed preventing further anti-social behaviour in the area
