89 year old Southport man missing from home

Police are appealing for help to find an 89-year-old man from Southport who was last seen before 6pm on Friday (12 August).

John Munnelly is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, and of medium build. He is bald with a greying beard and speaks with an Irish accent. 

When he was last seen, John was wearing a grey and blue striped top, dark jacket, black trousers and a black cap.

He is known to frequent  the areas of Hesketh Park, Southport town centre and Southport Marine Lake.

Anyone who has seen John or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM Merseyside Police Contact Centre or call 101.
