Another "car key" burglary in Southport this time in Kew Road

The second car key burglary in Southport this week took place on Kew Road in Birkdale between 03:00 and 04:00 am on Friday 10th June. A grey  AUDI TTS was stolen with keys.

Offenders gained entry via rear patio doors, as with previous car key burglaries.

Patrols attended and house to house/CCTV enquiries have been made. CSI have also attended.

The car is  believed to have headed along the Formby Bypass in the direction of Liverpool. Stolen cars are often moved away from the offence location and parked up in case they have trackers on. So if you you see a car which is out of place in your street or local car park, it's worth reporting, in case it may be a stolen car we are looking for.

Owners of elite cars are advised to take extra measures to beef up security and make you car difficult to steal.
