At long last Southport have a home league game when Spennymoor Town are our visitors on Tuesday. Kick Off is at the usual time of 7.45pm.

After so many away games the lads are looking forward to a return home and hope as many people turn out as possible to show them the support.

The Matchday Programme is available to order online for posting out or click and collect and is well worth reading with the Boardroom page written by Ian Kyle a particularly interesting read.

After two defeats in a row on the road at Hereford and Buxton we will be looking to bounce back with a win. The squad has been hit by injuries to Jack Doyle and Declan Evans in recent weeks and both need a bit longer to recover. Josh Hmami was on the bench at Buxton and manager Liam Watson will be hoping he is nearing readiness for a start soon.

Spennymoor grabbed a late equaliser against Scarborough on Saturday in a 2-2 draw and sit one place above us in 12th place with a point more. A win tonight for either side keeps them in touch with the play off pack which is all very close and anyone going on a run from 17th up is still hopeful of being in the mix at the end of the season.

Last time on the road our visiors enjoyed a 2-1 win at Chester.
