Attendance records broken at Southport FC

The gate against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday was the fourth highest Non League league gate we have ever had bettered only by the 3462 v Lincoln in 2016-17, 3206 v York in 2006-07 and 3046 v Tranmere also in 2016-17 all in National League games. It goes in at number 12 in our all games list.
The average home attendance for the season was 1312 the best we have ever had in National North and second best ever. The best ever was 1423 in the National League in 2000-01.
The aggregate home and away gates totalled 58605 easily the highest we have ever had in National North.
The home aggregate totalled 30181 which is our highest ever aggregate albeit over a 23 home league match programme as against a 21 match season.
The average increase from last season to this was 242 bettered only by Chorley (278) in National North.
It’s worth looking back at our two National North promotion seasons, in 2004-05 our average home gate was 1004 and in 2009-10 it was 924 which demonstrates how much stronger the league is now with a number of full time clubs with good away support.
These stats refer to our time in the 46 years we have been in Non League Football.
We would like to thank everyone for your support in 2024-25.
