Beach parking at Ainsdale in Southport is now full

The glorious weather means that thousands of people have driven to the coast to cool off meaning the beach car park at Ainsdale is now full.

The National Trust car parks in Formby are also full.

Southport beach car park will be closed over the weekend due to high tides and Ainsdale will be running at a reduced capacity.
