Become a VIP Animal Carer for a Day at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary

As the nights draw out your thoughts might be turning to more outdoor activities; Woodlands

Animal Sanctury offer the opportunity to join the team for a morning and become a VIP Animal

Carer. You will be working alongside some of their experienced and knowledgeable team to get a

real hands-on experience of what it takes to look after the animals they have with them. You will be

able to join in with all aspects of animal care, both getting your hands dirty with mucking and

cleaning out as well as enjoying cuddles, grooming and other care aspects that happen daily.

This is a lovely gift if you have an animal mad loved one. Available to any age, the charity simply ask

that a responsible adult accompanies a child (under 14) or adult with additional needs for the

duration of the experience.

The experience costs £50 and the money will go towards the cost of care for the animals. For more

£50 would buy two Feliway diffusers, which will help two cats settle, into a new environment,

following the ordeal they have just endured. £50 will pay for more than 2 cats to get vaccinated

with a lifesaving vaccine or the ponies to get their feet trimmed and rebalanced.

Whilst the VIP Animal Carer get to leave with a bank of memories and experiences they wouldn’t

usually get, plus learn some skills that they can add to their skills bank.
