New documents filed at Companies House reveal that the Bliss Hotel in Southport owed more than £18 million to its creditors before entering administration recently. The hotel is up for sale with Savills estate agents and remains open at the moment.

Part of the Waterfront complex the hotel is next to the recently closed casino and Hungry Horse restaurant.

Southport Theatre is also part of the complex that is due for demolition early next year to make way for an Events Centre.
