BMW destroyed by fire in Banks near Southport-Video

Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service were called to Long Lane in Banks near Southport on Wednesday 9th March after a BMW burst into flames.

A spokesperson said: "Crews put out the car fire when they attended. They were called at 12.02pm and arrived at 12.08pm."

Lancashire Fire  also attended but the fire had been extinguished by the time they arrived.

An electrical fault is believed to be the cause.
