BMW driver runs off after early morning Coastal Road accident in Southport

The Coastal Road is now open.

Police received a report of a road traffic collision on the Coastal Road, in Southport, earlier this morning (Thursday 9 February).

At around 2.30am, it was reported that a black BMW had collided with a number of bollards.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, the driver had fled the area.
