Body found on Lord Street in Southport

The emergency services are dealing with an incident on Lord Street in Southport this morning. Witnesses at the scene say that a body has been found in the gardens close to the Monument. The emergency services have covered the body and put up green screens.

Police have cordoned off the area as an investigation begins.
