Burglar smashes window at Sweet Jaspers in the Cambridge Arcade, Southport

During the early hours of this morning a burglar smashed the window of Sweet Jaspers in the Cambridge Arcade as he attempted to break in. In the process of kicking the glass, the burglar cut his leg badly. He had already tried to break into the old phone shop in BHS store.

He was arrested by police after his failed attempt to burgle the sweet shop.
