Burglary Alert: Ainsdale Tesco Express Robbed in Early Morning Heist

Detectives are appealing for information following a business burglary in Ainsdale in the early hours of this morning, Monday 9 June.
At 1.20am, officers attended Tesco Express on Station Road to reports of an intruder alarm being activated. It is believed that entry was forced to the premises and a cash box stolen.
Enquiries are ongoing, including house-to-house, forensics and CCTV and officers remain on the scene. The store is closed at the time of writing.
Detective Inspector Ted Barr said: "Our investigation is in its early stages and a cordon remains in place this morning. If you live nearby or were passing at the time and have not already spoken to us, please come forward as we continue our work to find those responsible.
“Your dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage could be vital."
