Buxton v Southport match preview

After a fine performance at Scunthorpe on Tuesday albeit with the wrong result, we hit the road again and a trip to Buxton.

Considering the injury situation and unavailabilty of players on Tuesday it was a great effort and with a bit more luck we could have easily come away with a point against the Divisions hot favourtites,

Manager Jim Bentley will be taking stock of his available players at training on Thursday.

Buxton had a good home win on Tuesday 2-1 against Hereford.

Buxton did the double over Southport last season winning 4-1 at Haig Avenue and 1-0 at Silverlands.

It’s a plastic pitch which has worked for and against us so far this season.
