Can Southport Rebound After Recent Disappointing Performances?
We make our annual Boxing Day trip to Curzon Ashton with the game kicking off at 3pm.
After two disappointing league performances manager Jim Bentley will be looking for a positive response from the lads in the first of the double header against our Boxing Day/New Years Day opponents.
Curzon have lost their last two games on the road and conceded seven goal in the process but last time out at home they beat Brackley 2-0.
We are yet to lose in the league aginst our hosts and there is usually no lack of incident when the sides meet.
Former ‘Port players Jordan Richards, Jamie Allen and Cam Mason feature for Curzon whilst Harry Flowers and Chris Renshaw will be relishing the chance to play against their former club.
There will be no segregation in place.
