Cannabis farm discovered on Dover Road in Southport

Yesterday, the Southport Local Policing Team assisted their Targeted Policing colleagues, who were dealing with a cannabis farm on Dover Road in Southport.

The farm was discovered before it could be cropped, which means the criminals were denied from releasing drugs into our community and benefiting from their crime. In fact they had invested a lot into setting up their illegal endeavour. There was a significant amount of compost, pots, hoses, watering equipment and other equipment that was seized.

This has now been donated to a local charity who use the materials to benefit the community and the people they work with. In return the charity kindly offered to donate their remaining unsold Christmas trees to victims of crime, or people in need this Christmas, who might enjoy them.
Investigations continue.
