Car and motorbike collide at Kew roundabout Southport yesterday evening

The emergency services were called to the Kew roundabout in Southport at 20.58 on Tuesday following reports of a collision between a Kia and a Kawasaki motorbike.

Sadly the 59 year old rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Kia was not injured and is assisting police with their investigations.
