Coffee King Unveils New Cafe in the Heart of Southport's Iconic Lord Street

Housed within a beautifully restored former bank, the new Coffee King café showcases a striking marble exterior, fabulous lighting, and an ornate ceiling design with impressive high ceilings, creating an elegant and memorable space in the very heart of the town. Positioned at a busy crossroads on Southport's most famous street, the café provides the perfect destination for locals, shoppers and tourists.

More than just a café, Coffee King aims to become a true community hub for Southport, a welcoming space to meet friends, enjoy a chat, get to know the team, and always leave with a smile. Coffee King prides itself on creating warm, friendly environments where customers feel at home, whether they're popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a relaxed catch‑up.

To celebrate the opening, the first 50 people through the door on launch day will receive a complimentary barista-made hot drink, giving customers even more reason to join the celebrations.

The Lord Street opening marks an important milestone in Coffee King's continued expansion. The new café follows on from the successful launch of sites in West Kirby, Liverpool ONE and its flagship café in Halifax. All opened within the last two years, with more to come this year, including a new large sit-in cafe in Liverpool and Warrington. Along with a state-of-the-art, full coffee roasting solutions centre in Deeside, Wales, marking a significant milestone in Coffee King's growth strategy.

The café will also offer outside seating, allowing customers to bask in the sunshine during the warmer months while enjoying Coffee King's expertly crafted drinks in one of Southport's most vibrant settings.

In addition to its speciality coffee, customers can enjoy Coffee King's signature savoury and sweet croissants from itsdeliciously differentrange, alongside a carefully curated selection of freshly prepared hot food including baked pasties, baps and other comforting options. The menu also offers a variety of high-quality sandwiches and light bites, making it an ideal destination for breakfast, lunch or a relaxed afternoon tea, catering to customers throughout the day.

Situated in one of Southport's most historic and bustling areas, the café proudly joins a high‑footfall part of town frequented by both tourists and residents, all seeking that great cup of coffee.
