Congratulations Liverpool Football Club on securing the 2024/25 Premier League title today.

Merseyside Police Superintendent Matthew Moscrop said: “The red half of the city of Liverpool will be delighted by today’s Premier League win.

“The main celebrations are yet to come, and there will of course be a suitable chance for the fans, players and staff to finally enjoy a Premier League title together, free from the restrictions in place during the 2019/20 season.

“As usual, we are working closely with the council and LFC to plan any appropriate celebrations. More information will be confirmed soon.”
