Council apologise for not cutting the grass in Southport and Sefton

A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: “Green Sefton are aware of current concerns regarding grass cutting in the borough on our parks and open spaces.

“Unfortunately, due to staff absence and machinery issues, we have been unable to deliver our planned maintenance schedule at the usual frequency.

“We would like to thank our residents for their patience as we aim to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
