Last night, 2 West Lancs neighbourhood officers were out on patrol in Ormskirk when they noticed a suspicious male loitering behind a takeaway on Green Lane- officers detained the male for a search in which they located lots of bags of cannabis, what is believed to be class A drugs, a burner phone and cash.

The male who resides in Merseyside was arrested for Possession with intent to supply class A/B drugs. A further search of his home address located multiple large cannisters of nitrous oxide. The 19-year-old male remains in custody at this time whilst officers continue to investigate the matter.

We continue to tackle crime that comes across our borders and target those individuals who think it is acceptable to supply and sell drugs around our communities.
We thank our colleagues at Merseyside Police for helping us during this investigation.
