Danny Lloyd's 94th Minute Strike Lifts Southport Past Chester

In an incredible finish to the game Southport scored two added time goals to claim victory.

The never say die attitude of the team shone through once again overturning a 56th minute Dylan Mottley-Henry goal that gae the home side the lead into a win with the goals coming from Chris Sze in the 91st minute and Danny Lloyd in the 94th. Both scrappy goals but they ended up in the back of the net.

Chester looked to have the game won and looked a very solid side and deserved their lead and will probably feel hard done to not to have won the game but a failure to kill the game off cost them dearly and this rejuvenated Southport side made them pay.

A fantastic away following of 295 in the crowd of 2635 celebrated long and hard with a win that sets up our FA Trophy Semi-Final against Southend next week very nicely.
