Day 4 of the preventative policing programme #MiniPathfinders project at St Johns C of E Primary School in Crossens.

This morning Officers were joined by Stop Loan Sharks England illegal money lending team who educated the pupils on the dangers of lending money, the pressures they put on parents to have the latest technology or clothes and the signs to look out for should they feel like this may be happening to a friend or family member.

The illegal money lending team are running a competition and have asked the pupils to design them a new poster with vouchers for the 2 best posters being announced on Friday at the awards ceremony.
The vouchers have been funded by money seized from loan sharks.

After all their hard work this week the pupils were rewarded with a fun filled end to the morning where they got to hold and learn all about different snakes in an attempt to bring the pupils out of their comfort zones and build their self-confidence.

The snakes were provided by the wonderful Phill Mellor PM Reptiles who took time to educate the pupils on the different species of snakes and also helped the pupils to grow in confidence whilst providing a fun and interactive end to the morning’s sessions.

This afternoon Officers were joined by from Active Body and Mind who carried on their session from Tuesday afternoon discussing mental health and anxiety whilst focusing on teambuilding, trust and nutrition. Promoting a healthy body and healthy mind lifestyle.

Pupils and staff are looking forward to the final day tomorrow.
