Despite warnings to stay out of the Sun people flock to Southport beach in the sunshine
After being told to stay indoors and various other warnings that being outside in todays heatwave is bad for you scores of folk headed for Southport Beach and had a great time in the high tide.
The whole town was packed with day trippers.
