Disruption across the Merseyrail network this morning

Merseyrail services are disrupted on multiple lines, the lines impacted are:

Ellesmere Port line:

Due to signalling problems train services to Ellesmere Port are starting and Terminating at Hooton.

Rail replacement buses are being organised to run between Formby and Southport, this is not yet in operation.

Southport line:

Due to a broken down train between Ainsdale and Freshfield, train services for Liverpool Central may be started at terminated at Formby.

Buses are being organised to run between Formby and Southport, this is not yet in operation

Hunts Cross & Ormskirk line:

Due to a train fault at Old Roan, Train services to Hunts Cross may be terminated at and started from Aintree.

Train services to Ormskirk may be suspended. Rail replacement buses are being organised to run between Aintree and Ormskirk.
