Donation box contents stolen from Botanic Aviary in Southport

A spokesperson commented...

Unfortunately, one of our donation boxes has been broken into and the contents have been stolen, We are currently reviewing our fantastic CCTV cameras looking for the person(s) who have done this.

The donation box is now damaged so is currently unusable, the donations that people kindly put into the boxes goes to the Botanic Gardens Community Association volunteers, which then goes towards the outgoings of the aviary for things like: food, bedding, fresh fruit & veg, veterinary costs and other supplies.
