Driver smashes into Southport Sea Wall after losing control of their vehicle

A driver has lost control of their vehicle and smashed into the sea wall in Southport. The accident was at the roundabout by Fairways and the Marine Drive early this morning.

Extensive damage has been caused to the vehicle and the air bags activated.

A sign has also been destroyed in the accident. The sea wall has suffered little damage.

The condition of the occupants of the vehicle is not known.
