Elderly man waits 40 minutes for an Ambulance after falling on Lord Street in Southport

A elderly man suffered a nasty cut to his head after falling on Lord Street in Southport today(9th September).

Two Police officers and passing firemen administered first aid to the man.

An Ambulance was called and it took 40 minutes to arrive at the scene.

Paramedics placed the man in a wheelchair and treated him in the ambulance.
