Emergency services called to Lord Street Southport after woman hit by van

The emergency services were called to Lord Street in Southport at approximately 10.00am today (21st June) after a woman was hit by a van close to Eastbank Street junction.

The woman was sat in the road before being helped onto a bench. She was treated by Paramedics for cuts to her leg after a half hour wait.

The van driver was uninjured. Police are at the scene investigating the incident
