Southport
Kew Road and Dinorwic Road closed after suspected ordnance found in Southport. Updated
Kew Road in Southport is cordoned off between Brighton Road and Bedford Road after suspected ordnance was found at the rear of a property.
Dinorwic Road is also closed while the item is assessed. A Merseyside Police officer at the scene said the roads would remain shut until it can be confirmed what has been found.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews are also at the scene. Nobody has been injured.
All clear now and road reopened
