Curzon were in action on Tuesday going out of the FA Cup at League 2 Cambridge United on penalties after extra time. Both games ended 0-0 which is a clear demonstration they are strong defensivley.
Southport are on a great run with 8 points from the last four games propelling the side into fifth place and go into the game brimming with confidence having held the leaders and second place teams to very good draws in games that arguably we could have won. King’s Lynn looked a very good side and it was easy to see why they are up at the top of the table, and we matched them.
Curzon’s league form has gone out of the window in the cup run, they have wins on the road at Kidderminster (when they were in form) Gloucester and Boston
