Fire at Preston New Road Laundrette, Southport

Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service were called to the Laundrette on Preston New Road early this afternoon (4th August) after reports of a fire in the premises. The small blaze was soon extinguished and there are not thought to be any injuries.

It is not known how much damage was caused or if the business is still open.
