Fire Service block off part of Southport Promenade after sink hole appears

Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service have blocked off part of Southport Promenade this afternoon after a deep sink hole appeared. The hole is close to the junction of Fairways on the south bound side of the road.

Sefton council will be sending someone to inspect the sink hole as soon as is possible.

Motorists might want to find another route as it looks like one side of the road will have to closed.
