Fire Service called to Coastal Road Southport after fuel spillage

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Coastal Road in Southport today after the fuel tank on a truck started to leak.

Fire fighters used a high pressure water jet to remove the fuel from the road surface and make the area safe.

The broken down vehicle is awaiting recovery.
