Five Men Wanted in Connection with Violent Liverpool City Centre Disruption
Detectives investigating violent disorder in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Wednesday 27th December have issued CCTV images of five men they want to trace.
At around 5.30am patrols located a 21-year-old man at the junction of Church Street and Whitechapel with stab wounds to the chest. He was taken to hospital but has since been released.
A further two males self-presented at hospital with injuries and a fourth man was also later identified as having suffered lacerations to his head.
It is believed the injuries were linked to a disturbance involving two groups of males who left the Safe House bar onto Peter Street a short time earlier.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out and to date seven people have been charged in connection with the incident.
Detectives have issued CCTV images of five men they want to speak to who they believe could have information which could assist the investigation.

Those to date charged in connection with the incident are:
Eugene Mason-Lamb, 29, of Hodder Road, Liverpool has been charged with violent disorder.
Jordan Kinsella, 29, of Harrogate Drive, Everton, has been charged with violent disorder.
Cameron Quinn, 21, of Swanside Avenue, Huyton, has been charged with violent disorder; Section 18 wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
Milne Critchley, 20, of Sprucewood Close, Anfield, has been charged with violent disorder.
Luke Bowland, 21, of Webster Road, Wavertree, has been charged with violent disorder.
Adam Draper, 21, of St David's Road, Huyton, has been charged with violent disorder.
George Miller, 20, of no fixed abode, has been charged with violent disorder.
