Dolce Vita marks 40 years on Ainsdale’s Station Road
Dolce Vita is celebrating 40 years at the heart of Ainsdale, having first opened on Station Road in 1986.
The Italian restaurant at 90 Station Road has become a familiar part of village life, welcoming generations of diners and building a following across Ainsdale, Southport and beyond.
Its menu includes antipasti, wood-fired pizzas, pasta, risotto, meat and seafood. Current favourites include Smoked Salmon Bucatini, Linguine Frutti di Mare and Lasagne al Forno.
The pizza menu ranges from a Margherita to Nduja and Goat’s Cheese, alongside the signature Dolce Vita pizza with dolce latte blue cheese, mozzarella and Parma ham.
Dolce Vita also offers a Thursday Steak Night, with two 8oz rump steaks and a bottle of house wine to share for £45. Sunday lunch is served from midday to 6pm and includes a choice of roast meats, traditional accompaniments, seasonal dishes and weekly specials.
The restaurant has an outside terrace with a separate bar, all-weather umbrellas and heaters. A function room and heated conservatory are available for private celebrations, with larger parties accommodated in the main restaurant.
Tripadvisor currently lists Dolce Vita with a 4.6 rating from more than 400 reviews and a 2026 Travellers’ Choice award.
