Formby Nature Haven Expects Busy Bank Holiday Weekend: Visitor Information
With signs of Spring appearing and some sunshine forecast over the Easter bank holiday weekend we're expecting car parks to be busy at Formby’s nature haven.
Here’s some useful information if you’re planning a visit.
Check social media before you set off for live parking updates.
If car parks are full and closed please travel by train if you can or explore other coastal destinations nearby;

Toilets are available at Lifeboat Road and Victoria Road open between 10am and 4pm.
Path diversions are in place at Victoria Road due to large amounts of old construction rubble being exposed during recent high tides. Please follow the signs and keep a safe distance from the rubble.
Head to Lifeboat Road for beach access as there is a boardwalk and RNLI Lifeguards at the weekends and bank holidays over Easter.
Take a peek at tide times before you visit as at high tide there can be very little beach for you to enjoy https://bbc.in/40ypWWK
Help wading birds on the shore rest before their long journey ahead by keeping your distance and not letting dogs or horses run through flocks.
Give rare natterjack toads a safe space to breed by keeping dogs out of dune pools.
Bring a bag for your litter and pop it in the car park bins or even better take home to reuse or recycle what you can.
Every time you pay to park or scan your membership card you’re helping to care for and protect this special coastal haven for wildlife and people. Thank you for your support.
