Four Southport residents arrested as part of Operation Sprint
Police have arrested 10 men and women across Sefton as part of an operation to locate and detain outstanding suspects.
Operation Sprint prioritises those suspected of posing the greatest risk to victims and communities, supporting wider efforts to reduce crime. It forms part of Sefton BCU’s ongoing commitment to making our communities safer.
Today’s operation was delivered using resources from Proactive Teams, Neighbourhood Policing, CID, the Public Protection Unit and Response Policing, deploying from Marsh Lane Police Station under the leadership of Sergeant Lucas Gallen.
William Larkey, 42, from Southport, was charged with failing to appear at Liverpool City Magistrates for drugs offences and minor traffic matters. He remains in custody pending a court appearance.
Catherine Norris, 43 years, of Braemar Avenue, Southport has been charged with failing to appear in Liverpool City Magistrates court for drugs matters. She has been remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday 4 May.
Lisa Marie Sherry, 53 years, of no fixed address, was charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice and bailed to appear at Sefton Magistrates Court on 10 June.
Lee Colton, 37 years, of Aigburth Drive, Liverpool has been charged with two offences of theft from a shop. He was remanded to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Saturday 2 May.
Shaun McNally, 35 years, of Moss Lane, Liverpool, has been charged with fraud by false representation and bailed to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court on 26 June.
A 20-year-old man from Bootle, was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on conditional bail.
A 42-year-old man from Southport, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and coercive control. He remains in custody awaiting interview.
A 22-year-old man from Birkdale, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, harassment, coercive control and possession of a controlled drug. He remains in custody at the time of writing.
A 41-year-old man from Waterloo, was arrested on suspicion of seven instances of shop theft. He remains in custody awaiting interview.
A 35-year-old man from Kirkdale, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has been released under investigation.
