From Scunthorpe to Southport: Richie Bennett Joins the Squad on a Three-Month Loan

Southport FC are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced striker Richie Bennett on a three month loan from Scunthorpe United.

Richie, 32, born in Oldham, brings a vast amount of experience to the squad having spent time amongst others at Carlisle, Barrow, Stockport, Morecambe and more recently at Scunthorpe.

Richie will be in the squad for tonight’s game at Blyth Spartans.
