Further appeal for information following fatal RTC in Crosby.Southport drivers check your dashcam
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Crosby in August.
Emergency services were called at just before 1.30pm on Sunday 28 August following reports of a collision involving a Mercedes and a Honda car on Little Crosby Road in Great Crosby.
A man in his 20s, two women in their 20s and a man in his 50s were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sadly one of the women, 22 year-old Claudia Phoebe Forden, who was a passenger in the Mercedes and from the Crosby area, sadly passed away at hospital. The other three people injured are recovering following treatment at hospital.
Roads Policing Constable Jack Hearnden said: “Enquiries are ongoing in relation to the circumstances. Therefore, we’d ask that anyone who witnessed the collision or captured anything on dashcam or other devices and has yet to come forward does so as soon as possible. Your information could be absolutely vital to our investigation.”
