Get Involved in The Open: Have Your Say At The Upcoming Engagement Event
Find out more about the open golf championship at engagement event in Southport on Thursday 14th May.
Taking place between 11am and 6pm at Southport Market, the free event is an opportunity for local people to find out more about what is happening.
It will also be the chance to meet the people who are helping to organise the event, ask questions and share your thoughts.
Open Legacy Fund
And people can find out more about The Open Legacy Fund. Launched in March, the fund will use money provided by event’s organiser, The R&A, to create a lasting, positive legacy for Sefton.
This will be achieved through grants to community projects that will deliver environmental and social benefits long after the Championship has taken place.
