Sound of the Underground- Busking Project
This project is being organised by a group raising funds for Supplies for Ukraine CIC.
They are securing speakers in five spots on the Merseyrail network, essentially acting as ‘busking spots’. These will be playing music pre-recorded by artists in Ukraine who can no longer busk in Kyiv as it is now illegal. We are bringing their music to the people of Liverpool during Eurovision to connect people to their stories. Their floor stickers will be below the speakers, there will be a QR code that will take you to a website where you can find out more about the musician’s lives and donate to the cause should you wish to do so.
Change for Ukraine
Eurovision-branded collection tins are available across all Merseyrail stations. Passengers that are able to are encouraged to donate, and all the proceeds will go to the DEC Appeal and Supplies for Ukraine CIC.
