Are you looking for a reason to get some friends together to have a gossip, win some prizes, grab yourself a bargain all whilst raising money for a local animal charity?  Woodlands Animal Sanctuary have the answer.

On Saturday 11th November, they are holding their second Ladies Evening, with Bucks Fizz on arrival, a fashion show, a selection of pre-loved and nearly new clothes to buy, plus stalls for your perusal.  Along with chances to win on the bingo and raffle.  All the proceeds will go straight towards the cost of care of the animals they have with them currently.

Along with the day to day running costs the charity has, including medications, feeds and of course heat to keep the cats, in particular warm.  They also have some projects they are looking to save up for.  All this means the short purse strings they have are always tight.  From giving kittens a fighting chance of life following eye surgery, to goats who are poorly there are always extras to pay for, before they can even think of saving up for projects.  This is why events like this ladies evening are so important to them.  Your support really is what gets the animals through some of the toughest times in their lives.

So grab your tickets, which are only £12 each from their website; www.woodlandsanimalsanctuary.org.uk/eventss/ and head to Tarleton Bowling Club at 6:30pm on Saturday 11th November for a pre-Christmas get together with some of your favourite girlfriends, bag yourself some treat, from Primark to Armani, there will be something that catches your eye.  There will be plenty of stalls for you to browse, you could tick a few presents off your Christmas list, knowing you are helping Woodlands to care for vulnerable soles like Jimmy.
